I'm a Information Science graduate from the University of Maryland, College Park, where I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in May 2023. With a solid foundation in Information Science and a GPA of 3.1, I've demonstrated a strong passion for learning and technology. During my academic journey, I had the privilege of interning at the NewWave FHIR Academy, where I received specialized training in Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR), a crucial industry standard for electronic healthcare data exchange. My commitment to education and technology was further evident as I served as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant, guiding students in a Web Development course at the University of Maryland, with a focus on HTML/CSS and JavaScript. Beyond the classroom, I led the development of a full-stack web application for The Columbia Association, empowering volunteers to geolocate and track invasive species. My coding skills span a variety of programming languages, including JavaScript, Java, Python, and Ruby, and I possess expertise in database design, data structures, and algorithms. I'm not just a tech enthusiast; I'm also an innovator. I secured first place in the NewWave Technologies Code-A-Thon for creating "The Gesture Texter," a tool enabling communication through head movements for individuals with neurodegenerative disorders. My resume reflects my dedication to the Information Science field, both in academia and through hands-on projects.
